voler, saavaage, протестировал на XP - этих ярлыков по-идее быть не должно(они удаляются), я исправлю и перезалью аддон. Ничего страшного в этом нет - просто некрасиво.

Обновил обе версии из-за проблем с ярлыками на XP.
Все кто на XP рекомендую перекачать - исправил. На Windows 7 изменения не увидите.
Также:
Чтобы настройки Ваши не перекрылись при первом запуске плеера, - нужно: первый запуск выполнить запустив медиафайл или
экспортируйте всю ветку реестра [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GRETECH\GomPlayer\OPTION] целиком, настроенного плеера

Вот наконец то нашлось время для тестирования -
Установил параллельно еще XPSP3, почти год разбирался с W7 - авто-установкой и т.д. Увидел небольшую разницу в качестве video, - на XP качество выше, чем на W7. Плюс на XP можно более детально настроить фильтры, а на W7 такого нет. Будем ждать обновления и улучшения от GOM :)

Обновлен только аддон GOMPlayer 2.1.28.5039, изменений с плеером и качеством нет. »
Нужен ли аддон с дополнительными кодеками или достаточно одного плеера? Я просто нашел удачную замену тем кодекам которые интегрировал в аддон http://soft.oszone.net/program/3646/Codec/

Использую версию с доп кодеками - GOM_Player_RU_+_Codec_2.1.28.5039.zip - работает идеально, на многих машинах пробывал.
Пришёл в тему чтобы попросить такойже аддон для свежей версии плеера, ну а раз тут такой вопрос, постом выше моего, - однозначно да - нужен аддон с доп. кодеками!

A major update to GOM Media Player was released on April 19, 2012.

Changes in version 2.1.40.5106 include:

1. Disable Splash Screen Function (window that appears when closing the player) added.

Users can now permanently disable the splash screen that periodically appears when closing the player. This can be done from the Preferences window (Preferences -> General -> Network tab -> Splash Screen). Resetting the player to it's default settings or re-installing the software after uninstalling will re-enable the Splash screen until it is disabled again.

2. Improved the Gretech MP4 Source Filter.

Corrected an issue that was causing MOV files recorded with CANON and FUJIFILM digital cameras to be played with no sound under the software's default settings.

3. Altered default screen size settings.

In the previous version the "Only apply when launching a new instance of GOM Player" option was enabled by default, causing all videos to open at 100% size of the first video viewed during that session. This option is now disabled by default.

4. Improved playback for extremely large files (AVI, MKV, WMV, ASF, MP4, OGG, TS)

Corrected a problem that caused files that are larger than 40MB per second to play incorrectly.

5. Added the LAV Audio Decoder to the Disabled Filters List

Due to compatibility issues that were causing playback errors, the LAV Audio Decoder is now disabled by default.

6. Corrected the Gretech FLV Source Filter

When trying to play FLV files that included audio that was encoded with the Speex codec, a "0x00000055" error was displayed and the file could not be played. The Speex codec is still not supported, however video can now be viewed properly when playing such files.

7. Improved the Gretech AVI Source Filter

Corrected an issue where audio was not played correctly on some AVI files that were comprised of multiple indexes.

8. Product information added to the Windows Control Panel

When highlighting GOM Player in the Programs and Features section of the Windows Control Panel, Product Version information, a Help Link, a Support Link, and an Update information link are now displayed at the bottom of the window.

9. Impoved the Playback Window size adjustment feature

Previously when using the [Ctrl] + [Alt] + Numpad [-] shortcut you could make the playback window so small that it would completely disappear. This issue has been corrected and a minimum size has been applied.

10. Adjusted the default AC3 options

Previously there was a slight boost applied to AC3 gain by default, which was causing minor audio distortion in some files. The AC3 Gain control is now set to 0 by default.

11. Misc

Miscellaneous minor changes to phrasing, etc.



Users who have not yet updated to version 2.1.40.5106 can use the [Update] button in the software interface to update to the latest version (Preferences -> General -> Network -> Update).

The update will be available for users of version 2.1.39.5101 within the next few hours. Download links on CNET and other software sites will also be updated within the next few hours.

первое что бросается в данной версии так это яндекс-бар....это лишнее и размер уменьшится а вот на много ли?

Orestik, никак, т.к. разработчики "такие" делали в инсталляторе, решается перепаковкой с удалением прочих "украшалочек".

да где угодно, только погугли. К примеру с http://player.gomlab.com/eng/download/download.gom
Размер значительно меньше русского и без Yandex-уродств в дистр-е. (есть правда другое - AVGSecurityToolbarInstaller, но размер гораздо меньше )
Русский язык можно добавить потом (надо извлечь нужные файлы из рус. дистр-ва) Но лучше - дистр перепаковать.
(Только надо ли... этот плейер , в отличии от таких же "коллег", сильно поганит реестр регистрацией кучи модулей)
