Red Hat 9 2.4.20-8
Меня интересует одна вещь можна ли этот модем установить в лине?

Подскажите где можно достать полную версию драйвера до моего HSF модема!
Ядро у меня версии 2.6.5. На www.linuxant.com есть но он обрезаний и тянет 14.4 кб
Или где достать кейген?

hackman - а кейген не надо. Просто купи :(. А так - так же подписываюсь.
Модем d-link dfm562is+. Дрова с ним шли стандартные - определился как d-link HFS v92 modem. Правда на ядро надо 2.4 - ASPLinux 9.0.

Conexant HSF modem


Lot of people who change from Window to Linux have problems with their modems what use chipset Conexant. I have same kind of modem and here I would like to provide help for those who are fighting right now the same problem, but not only this here You can download the driver for the modem too, true that this is only a beta version, but working well and it is stable, but who wants can download the original driver from the homepage http://www.linuxant.com , but I guess this is far from the thoughts of the free software.



Let start on the beginning, the Linux has some problems at recognizing the type of the modem usually, so for sure please check the documentation of Your modem to ensure You use proper driver.

When You know which one do You own than download Your driver:

Проверено под ядром 2.4.20 (ASPLinux 9.0). Правда отвечать модему провайдера он начал только с третьей попытки дозвона (сам причем - какой умный драйвер, наверное AI наращивал :))

Скачял драйвер с нета --------.tar.bz2
Распаковал.
Далее: make install:

з.ы. Буквы-крякозяблики(типа:Р’С…РѕРґ РІ каталог )-это просто русские
буквы из линукса, в винде.

Это скорей всего юникод так в винде виден.

Вот что выдал на "configur":

Объясните пожалуйста, а то новичёк в Linux(2 недели всего).

Всё.Установил дрова и модем определился как:/dev/modem. Но теперь новая проблема. Когда я подключаюсь к инету: пишет что модем готов, потом начинает набор номера-но скрипа модема не слышно. В итоге через 2 минуты молчания вылетает "NOT CONNECT".
