Windows XP Service Pack 3 RC1

Наконец-то стал доступен третий пакет обновлений для Windows XP. В него вошли все исправления, выпущенные с момента выхода предыдущей версии пакета, и добавлено несколько функциональных улучшений, которые, однако, не меняют кардинально работу с ОС. Пока попробовать Windows XP SP3 RC1 смогут только владельцы английской версии. Ссылка на закачку.

Сразу же после установки запустил Windows Update
Update сервиса v6 понадобилось скачать, ну а дальше был получен следующий результат

Или когда предыдушие версии со всеми фиксами установят, тогда и про 3.0.х/3.5.х ?

Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - May 2007 (KB890830) просто обязаны, December 2007 (KB890830) под вопросом.
.NETы нет не включат, так же как и IE7 и WMP11.
С Висты визуально заметил только Remote Desktop Connection.
Так же заметил новую вкладку на управлении питанием - Advanced Power Managment (АРМ).
Пользователи Висты, а у вас есть такое?

Dosmod, данный релиз не далёк от финала и выпускается лишь для того что б отловить ошибки реализацыи. Функцыональность и комплектность останутся прежними и в финале, релиз полезен тем, что б подготовить софт и пользователей.

ну тогда не понятно чято у них там за политика такая.. как же можно с СП не включить вышеописаные пакеты.. в том числе ИЕ7 и ВМП11....

.NETа нет в самом сервис паке, но в составе нового дитсрибутива (на диске с интегрированым СП3) он будет (правда не знаю какая версия) ведь при загрузке диска в предыдущих дистрибутивах был доступный пункт Perform Additional tasks -> Install NET. Frameworks.
IE7 не доступен, но там зато "новый" IE6 - 6.0.2900.3264.xpsp.071130-1427 Update Version:; SP3 правда копирайт 2004 года, но в системе есть и указания копирайта 2007 года, что радует.
Вместо WMP11 там WMP9 (9.00.00.4503 2002 SRS labs, Inc), хотя в последний сервис пак как для Windows XP/2003 х64, так и для Windows Server (x86) 2003 включили WMP10.
Наверное не включение IE7, WMP11 это часть политики почему не включили Aero :) и родной полноценный DirectX 10/10.1 :):)
Последние вещи (Aero и DirectX) не включины по причине того что их изначально не предусмотрели, а вот насчёт первых (IE7,WMP11) не понятно.

тю.. тогда прийдетсо все самому с офсайта устанавливать.. то есть ИЕ7, ВМП11 итд.. не удобно...
ну я думаю наши умельци чето с этими обновлекниями и сп3 сделают нормальное, но это уже наверно не по теме :D
